Finding community is hard.
The world we live in makes it even harder. Studies show that huge numbers of our community struggle with isolation, loneliness, and despair. Living on screens instead of in person with one another is a major reason.
So, we have committed to fighting a war against loneliness and despair. One way we are doing so is creating comfortable spaces where we can engage one another and build friendships that have real meaning.
To that end, we have started Brunch Church, a monthly worship gathering that is a bit different.
We will gather for worship in our fellowship hall, sitting around tables together. The simple service will have some music and prayers, a short reflection, and lots of time to share stories, have discussions, and build relationships around your table. Did we mention we will do all of that while enjoying some fantastic food? Sounds like a delightful way to spend a Sunday morning together.
