Finding a place for Middle and High School students to feel comfortable, to build relationships with friends and mentors and to encounter God is one of our highest priorities at DCC. We are working to create a place for teenagers to come together and feel comfortable being themselves. Our youth gathers each week to grow friendships, learn about their faith, and of course to enjoy life together.

Sundays

On Sunday mornings during the worship hour the youth gather for worship then head out during the service for a time of studying the Word together.

Wednesdays

On Wednesday nights at 6 PM you can find the youth clustered in our offices for a small group time.

House Parties

Once a month the youth gather in one another's homes for a house party, an opportunity to invite friends, have fun in a relaxed atmosphere and build community. If you are interested in joining us for our next house party or would be willing to host a get together for our youth please contact Pastor Greg.

Celebrate Life 2009

Interested in competing on one of the Celebrate Life teams that will head to Olivet May 14-16, 2009? Tryout are at Valparaiso Church of the Nazarene on March 14. Check with the church office for more information. 

Summer Mission Trip

We are heading to Cincinnati, OH July 12 -19 for our youth mission trip. We will be working in the inner city of Cincinnati, partnering with a wonderful organization called Youth Works. The cost of the trip is $250 per student. We will have a number of fundraisers before the trip to help offset the cost. We will work to make sure that money will not be a limiting factor for any student that wants to go on the trip.
