As Chesterton Church of the Nazarene ended and Duneland Community Church was born several important things happened. One of the things that changed the shape and future of DCC was the sale of the old Chesterton Church and the purchase of our 12 acres of land on the corner of 1100N and 50W here in Chesterton.

We feel strongly that our future as a church is connected to this land and we are so excited about the days ahead and the excitement that will come as we move further into a bulding project. In 2007 we launched a three year capital campaign to help us move through the first step of building a facility on our property. This first phase of commitment was to enable us to pay off the mortgage on the land, pay for the design of the facility and have money to put towards the beginning of the building. 

Our next phase will be a capital campaign to raise funds to build the first phase of our facility. Over the next several years we have plans to build multiple facilities on the property that will serve for worship, community groups, recreation, and community gathering areas.
